Ms. Whitford's practice focuses on representing clients in all aspects of the dissolution of marriage process, legal separation, post-decree modification issues, allocation of parental responsibilities, and child support matters. Ms. Whitford is experienced in handling domestic violence issues and protection orders. She is an experienced trial attorney that has represented clients in counties across Colorado including Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Adams, Larimer, Weld, Mesa, Summit, Eagle, Routt, and Park. Ms. Whitford also serves at the County Attorney in dependency and neglect matters on behalf of the Park County Department of Human Services.
Before joining Goodspeed Merrill, Ms. Whitford was a Member at Sherman & Howard L.L.C. where her practice emphasized family law and civil litigation. Ms. Whitford has been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Ms. Whitford is a Colorado Native and happily calls Colorado home with her husband Shane and son Brayden.
