Attorneys. Counselors. Business Partners.
Ms. Safran concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation and appeals, mediation, and arbitration. Prior to joining the firm, she was with a boutique firm in Michigan that served sophisticated business clients in the Detroit metropolitan area. Her clients included corporate executives, real estate developers, automotive suppliers, and closely-held businesses.
While practicing in Michigan, Ms. Safran was the chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan's Civil Procedure and Courts Committee, which reviews proposed court rules and makes recommendations for improving the administration, organization, and operation of Michigan's state courts. In this role, Ms. Safran assisted in drafting a number of revisions to the Michigan Court Rules, including recently adopted updates of the civil discovery rules.
Ms. Safran was recognized as one of Michigan's "Super Lawyers." She also has an "AV" peer review rating from Martindale Hubbell and was included in the dBusiness "Top Lawyers in Metropolitan Detroit." In 2015, she became a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society comprised of less than one-half of one percent of American Lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only.
